Please join us as we honor: Joan Myers Brown, Executive Artistic Director of PHILADANCO and Lois Fernandez, Founder and President of ODUNDE, Inc. as well as Kulu Mele's 39th year of existence and continued commitment to move forward into its 40th year with new initiatives and programs that help serve the community. The evening will be hosted by Stephanie Renee, singer and songwriter, co-executive producer for GenIsUs, a teen talk show broadcast on Comcast Cable Philadelphia. The event will feature a silent auction and performances by Kulu Mele African American Dance Ensemble and Seewe African Dance Company from New York.
