Support Kulu Mele
Founded in 1969, Kùlú Mèlé African Dance and Drum Ensemble is one of Philadelphia’s oldest and most well-regarded dance companies. The ensemble is dedicated to honoring the wisdom of the ancestors and serving the community by preserving and presenting sacred and secular dance and music of the African Diaspora. Kùlú Mèlé fulfills its mission through high quality, authentic performances, workshops, residencies, apprenticeships and study tours that seek to deepen understanding of traditional cultural practices and build bridges between African and American cultures. As a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization, Kùlú Mèlé depends upon the generosity of individuals, private foundations, corporations and the public sector. Your tax-deductible contribution will help us continue to provide creative outlets for children and teens, maintain artistic excellence, and celebrate African-rooted cultures. Please see below for a variety of ways to make a secure donation. Thank you for your consideration.
