Kulu Mele Day 11-28-20
Join Kulu Mele for a full day of virtual programs on November 28, 2020!
We meet online starting at 10am for a series of dance and drum classes taught by our company members including Cachet Ivey and Ama Schley. At 7pm we present Substance a program of works from our archive curated by Artistic Director Dorothy Wilkie and produced by Aidan Un. You’ll see the range of Kulu Mele’s love for African Culture in West African, Afro Cuban, and Hip Hop dances by choreographers such as Arisa Ingram, Acacia Reed, and Jeffrey Page. Meet us live on social media right after the show for some music and fellowship hosted by the Kulu Mele Board of Directors.
Tickets are on sale now. See you at Kulu Mele Day.
